Dr. Leeon and Virginia Aller Awards Dinner
October 7, 2009 - 6PM St. John’s Church
Our club supports and strives to maintain the International foundation founded by Dr. and Mrs. Aller, Hands for Peacemaking Foundation (HFPF) is requested. Proceeds from this dinner will help continue support for this important non-profit international organization and help fund work in Guatemala which is part of Dr. and Mrs. Aller great gift of “Service above Self. Please join us as we celebrate their lives together and work to keep their dreams alive.
Over the years Dr. Leeon and Virginia, who were members of the Rotary Club of Snohomish, made many trips to Barillas, Guatemala. It was there that Virginia provided support for a school and Leeon established a medical clinic. During the dinner program there will be a presentation showing the work of Rotarians from Snohomish County during their annual trips to Guatemala in support of the work of HFPF, constructing school buildings and houses.
